TAG ..

I have never done a Tag..... But dere is always a first time for doing the thing. So here am I doing a Tag for a friend Ms P as it is interesting. Gehehehehehe..... So here goes, in no particular order, my favourite dialogues:
1. Now you know there was a man named "JACK DAWSON" , who saved me in every way a person can be saved...Now you know..and I don't even have a picture of him .. He exists only in my memories.... ---- TITANIC....
Don’t know something about this movie is just so different. Watched it countless times still every time when this line comes up I get totally lost in the moment.
2. Let the Force be with you. ----STAR WARS.
One of the best movie series ever made.. The line actually captures all the best abt Science Fiction movies...The Darth Vader was one character u would love and hate at the same time.
3. I'll be back -----Terminator
Well Arnold totally runs the show in dese movies...In the original movie spoke like 100 words still had such screen presence that any scene without him had something missing.
4. It is only in the mysterious equations of love can all logical reasons be found.----A Beautiful Mind
One of my all time favourite movie.... The last scene in which he expresses his true love for his wife is totally mind boggling ......The background music has no comparison till date.
5. " main hu crime master GOGO ankhen nikal kar gotia khelta hu gotia " - Andaz Apna Apna
Aamir Khan’s acting + Police station scene + Teja drama + Tilu’s illness + Robert’s plan + Diamond filled end + Karishma’s cuteness === BEST HINDI MOVIE EVER
6. "You can lose all your points for any one of three things. One: If you cry. Two: If you ask to see your mother. Three: If you're hungry and ask for a snack! Forget it! " - Life is beautiful
One of the saddest movies I have ever seen ... The end almost brought me to tears..As it is in life the simplest things are the hardest to say..........
7. "This pin. Two people. This is gold. Two more people. He would have given me two for it, at least one. One more person. A person, Stern. For this. " - Schindler's list
For those people who haven’t wept in dere whole life... This movie will make them shed a bucketful of tears as u watch Oscar Schindler change from a business man to being a humanitarian.
8. Kung Fu panda - "Legend tells of a legendary warrior whose kung fu skills were the stuff of legend"
The Panda was so awesome and lovable that u wanted the movie never to end......The line “No I am THE Big Fat Panda “also was good. All in all a movie worth watching many times.... One liners simply tooooooooooooooooooo good.
9. Snatch - "You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity."
The line itself is sufficient ...Isn’t it valid so very much dese days...

10. The dark Knight- " Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right
now. So we'll hunt him because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A Dark Knight.......
My ultimate favourite....Could not get this one out of my head for days...Waiting for the next one...:P

Those days...

Recently I read a beautiful poem which reminded me of those lost , old days when life was simple. What ever people meant they said it.Friends were not only for taking help, they signified something unique, something special . Where true happiness had nothing to do with achievement, where no one would ever think of betraying a friend, where life was just how it was. Where once a thing said was a line written on a stone, where passions ran high on a single cricket match, where you didn't have to think twice before asking a friend for crashing at dere place or even for a movie , where people had more to say than to think, where friends were not practical and came to your help even when they had nothing to gain from u , where the concept of give and take had not been invented.....Where are those days....where are those lovely wonderful days .....
The poem which inspired me to write this is as follows:-

I Want To Go Back To The Time
When INNOCENCE Was NATURAL,
Not FAKE.
When GETTING HIGH Meant On A SWING,
Not PROMOTIONS.
When DRINKING Meant RASNA ORANGE,
Not BEERS Or WHISKEYS.
When DAD Was The Only HERO,
Not DEPP Or TOM.
When LOVE Was MOM’S HUG,
Not The GIRL-FRIENDS’.
When DAD’S SHOULDER Was The HIGHEST PLACE On The Earth,
Not Your DESIGNATION.
When Your WORST ENEMIES Were Your SIBLINGS,
Not Your MANAGER.
When The Only Thing That Could HURT Were BLEEDING KNEES,
Not The TEARS Falling Down Your Cheeks.
When The Only Things BROKEN Were TOYS,
Not The DYING HEARTS.
And When GOOD-BYES Meant TILL TOMORROW,
Not For YEARS & YEARS.
Life Has Changed A Lot. And The People Too.
But The Thing Is That We Don’t Want To Accept It!
--
This is dedicated to Life how it keeps changing sometimes for the better , other times for the worse.

What IF

What if we could have the unreachable
What if we could do the unthinkable
What if we could make the impossible
What if we could be the unbelievable

What if we could think the unimaginable
What if we could feel the unexplainable
What if we could envision the unstoppable
What if we could create the incredible

What if we could paint the sky
What if we could learn how to fly
What if we could never really die
What if we could dare to always try

What if we could speak with the mountains
What if we could sing with the plants
What if we could dance with the animals
What if we could play with the stars

What if we could make flowers from tears
What if we could help illness disappear
What if we could turn pain into pleasure
What if we could be brave beyond measure

What if we could travel without moving
What if we could communicate without talking
What if we could learn without studying
What if we could succeed without failing

What if we could say nothing but the truth
What if we could see nothing but beauty
What if we could hear nothing but harmony
What if we could touch nothing but purity

What if we could give more than receive
What if we could forgive more than regret
What if we could enjoy more than suffer
What if we could love more than fear

What if we could find all the answers
What if we could be totally fearless
What if we could know all the truths
What if we could act like the Gods we are

What if we could still have faith in love
What if we could do what we like
What if we could understand people
What if we could not be selfish for a while
Won’t that be nice...........................?

The Road Not Taken

Here am I back again. It has been ages since I have felt like writing something. Is it becoz of sense of euphoria dosing out or is it the monotonous routine or even it may be the fact of not being able to concentrate. Anyways while reading the book -"Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki, I came across the poem by Robert Frost-" The Road Less Travelled". "Although I may have read the prose many times in the golden days of long ago (the good days of being innocent), it is only now that i think i have truly understood it fully. For those of u who haven't read it here's a copy for reference becoz for the rest of the blog am going to blabber abt it.-

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference

...Robert Frost

What is the first thing that comes to your mind...is it the importance of making a decision that the other person didn’t take.......Does it seem to be encouraging self-reliance, not following where others have led. If the answer for u is YES then u r one of those people who have fallen prey to the words Robert used in this golden poem.( as I have been for almost 12 years).
About the poem, Frost asserted, "You have to be careful of that one; it's a tricky poem - very tricky." And he is, of course, correct. The poem has been and continues to be used as an inspirational poem. But a close reading of the poem proves otherwise. It does not moralize about choice, it simply says that choice is inevitable but you never know what your choice will mean until you have lived it. Lets analyse it para by para:-

First Stanza – Describes Situation
The poem consists of four stanzas. In the first stanza, the speaker describes his position. He has been out walking the woods and comes to two roads, and he stands looking as far down each one as he can see. He would like to try out both, but doubts he could to that, so therefore he continues to look down the roads for a long time trying to make his decision about which road to take.
Second Stanza – Decides to Take Less-Travelled Road
He had looked down the first one “to where it bent in the undergrowth,” and in the second stanza, he reports that he decided to take the other path, because it seemed to have less traffic than the first. But then he goes on to say that they actually were very similarly worn. The second one that he took seems less travelled, but as he thinks about it, he realizes that they were “really about the same.” Not exactly that same but only “about the same.”
Third Stanza – Continue Description of Roads
The third stanza continues with the cogitation about the possible differences between the two roads. He had noticed that the leaves were both fresh fallen on them both and had not been walked on, but then again claims that maybe he would come back and also walk the first one sometime, but he doubted he would be able to, because in life one thing leads to another and time is short.
Fourth Stanza – Two Tricky Words
The fourth stanza holds the key to the trickiness of the poem:

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Those who interpret this poem as suggesting non-conformity take the word “difference” to be a positive difference. But there is nothing in the poem that suggests that this difference signals a positive outcome. The speaker could not offer such information, because he has not lived the “difference” yet.

The other word that leads non-discerning readers astray is the word “sigh.” By taking “difference” to mean a positive difference, they think that the sigh is one of nostalgic relief; however, a sigh can also mean regret. There is the “oh, dear” kind of sigh, but also the “what a relief” kind of sigh. Which one is it? We do not know. If it is the relief sigh, then the difference means the speaker is glad he took the road he did; if it is the regret sigh, then the difference would not be good, and the speaker would be sighing in regret. But the plain fact is we do not know what that sigh is. Again, the speaker of the poem does not even know the nature of that sigh, because that sigh and his evaluation of the difference his choice will make are still in the future. It is a truism that any choice we make is going to make “all the difference” in how our future turns out.

So Frost was absolutely correct; his poem is tricky—very tricky. But only if u are not careful reader. If we read into poems claims that are not there. And in this poem, it is important to be careful with the time frame. When the speaker says he will be reporting sometime in the future how his road choice turned out, we have to realize that we cannot assign meaning to “sigh” and “difference,” because the speaker himself cannot know how his choice will affect his future, until after he has lived it.

After writing all this, even I have started to feel a bit confused......why did i turn this philosophical?? Maybe it has something to do with my current mental state....Anyways if u have read it till this point.......Congrats u are absolutely vella ,even vella than me....well done Do hurl some abuses in the box below if u so wish...( Even a nice comment will do) .
